Current safety framework These features describe the current intended direction. The specification becomes binding only after course, animal-welfare, insurance and venue approval.

Obstacles & bypasses

Adventure without needless risk.

Safety begins with good design. Warning signs cannot replace wide paths, controlled heights and clear bypasses.

Ground-level features

Wide slalom, arch or visual feature. No jumps, tunnels, water pits or balance elements.

Human + child

Low & inspected

Two or three low elements with rounded edges, secure anchoring, suitable surface and a marshal.

For everyone

Penalty-free bypass

Every feature gets a clearly visible bypass. Choosing safety or accessibility never incurs a time penalty.

Dog zones

Venue rules still apply.

The published venue rules require dogs to remain leashed throughout the site and exclude dogs from garages and the pit lane. The event contract must therefore define start, finish, holding and course zones explicitly.

Dogs remain leashed throughout the venue. A dog that stops, shows distress or cannot continue must never be pulled or pressured.

Accessibility

Specific, not sweeping.

Salzburgring publishes accessible sanitary areas, parking and a ramp/viewing platform. That does not prove that the entire event course is wheelchair accessible.

A no-obstacle human wave is planned.
Surface, width, gradient, kerbs and evacuation will be audited onsite.
Companions and adaptive equipment will be considered individually.
Dog-plus-wheelchair participation requires specialist safety review first.
